Matthew Joel Brown

Mr. Matthew Joel Brown, 37, of Elberton, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Brown was born in Athens on September 15, 1980, son of Teresa Victoria Price Erickson and Henry Walker Brown. He was formerly employed at Royston LLC, and was proud of his artistic and tech savy abilities.

He is survived by his daughters: Brianna Brown and Ashley Brown; parents: Teresa and Dean Erickson of Elberton and Henry Walker Brown of Tignall; siblings: Andrew Ryan Floyd of Royston, Shellie Brown Vickery of Elberton, Bailey Brown of Athens, and Cassidy Brown of Athens; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, June 23, at 3 o'clock at Harmony Baptist Church with the Rev. Lynn Kellum officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service. At other times the family will be at the home of Teresa and Dean Erickson, 862 Academy Drive, Elberton.
