Mauline Kidd Kellum

Mauline Kidd Kellum, 85, of 3258 Kinghall Mill Road, Bowman, Georgia widow of the late Solomon Kellum passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Born May 29, 1928 in Elbert County to the late Jack Kidd and Ruby Brown Kidd. She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Left to cherish her memories are her children Ponica Kellum of Newnan, GA; David Kellum of Hartwell, GA; Scott Kellum; Buddy Kellum; Tim Kellum all of Bowman, GA; siblings Tom Kidd; Raburn Kidd; Harold Kidd all of Elberton, GA; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Walters and brothers Jack Kidd, Jr. and Jerry Kidd. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held 1PM, Friday November 1 at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Marcengill officiating. Interment will follow in Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery with James Edward Kidd, Hall West, Mark Clements, Morgan Clements, Alvin Bryant and Chad Adams serving as pallbearers. The body will be placed in the church to lie in state from 12PM till the hour of the service. The Kellum family will receive friends from 6-8PM Thursday night at Berry Funeral Home.
