Michael Odell Cleghorne

Michael Odell Cleghorne, age 61, of Carlton, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at his residence while he was surrounded by his loving family.  

He was born in Athens and was preceded in death by his father, Mitch Cleghorne.  

Michael was a beautiful person who had a huge heart; and he believed in playing hard and working hard.  He loved working as a security officer with B.O.S. Security, but his favorite thing to do was ride his motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife, Jamie Parham Cleghorne; mother, Jimmie Lee Cleghorne; brothers and sister, Sam, Billy, and Michelle; and several nieces and nephews.  

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Watson Mill State Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cancer Foundation of Northeast Georgia in appreciation of the support and care provided by University Cancer and Blood Center, https://www.cancerfoundationofnega.org/memorials.
