Mr. Michael Edward Ardister, Jr., 26, of Country Club Road, Elberton, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020, in Washington.
Michael was born in Athens on December 18, 1993, son of Michael Edward Ardister, Sr. and the late Betty Lou Craft Ardister. He was a self-employed musician, and has previously worked as a server at The White Plate Restaurant, a cashier at Ingles in Elberton, and at WSGC Radio. He was a graduate of Washington-Wilkes High School was currently attending Athens Technical College’s Radiology program.
Survivors include his father, Mike Ardister; siblings: Brandon and Carrie Ardister, Nathan Gunter, and Erin McElhannon; grandmother, Betty Shedd; girlfriend, Hailee Hanley and her father Terry Hanley; aunts and uncles: Debbie Smith, Regene Ardister, Jewell and Herman Glaze, Gregory Ardister, and Charles Ardister; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his mother, whom he lovingly cared for during her illness, he is preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy and Allene Ardister and Clarence Craft.
Memorial services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, March 21, at 2 o’clock at True Believers Outreach Ministries, 325 N. McIntosh Street, Elberton, with the Rev. Herman Glaze and the Rev. David Brandt officiating.
The family is at the residence of Mike Ardister, Sr., 139 E. Wooten Street, Tignall.
