Michael Edwin Beasley

Michael Edwin Beasley, 67, of Danielsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.

A native of Elberton, he was a son of the late Joe Cohen Beasley and Margaret Gaines Beasley. A 1972 graduate of Elbert County High School, he was also a 1976 graduate of The University of Georgia. He Certified Public Accountant working as the finance director for the Banks County School System, and was a tax preparer for many in the Madison County community. He was devoted father to his sons Chance and Jake Beasley, and a lifelong friend to many.

Preceeded in death by his parents; brother, William Beasley; niece, Shayna Morris; and his loyal dog Ozzie, he is survived by his sons; brothers and sisters-in-law: Joe and Jane Beasley and Wayne and Carrol Beasley; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and James Morris; as well as several nieces and nephews, a host of good friends, and wonderful coworkers.  

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 20, at 2:30p.m. in the Danielsville Chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, 963 Highway 98 East, Danielsville, GA 30633, with interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park in Elberton.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 19, from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home.
