Michael Gary Fields

Mr. Michael Gary Fields, 62, of Calhoun Falls Highway, Elberton, husband of Glenda Partain Fields, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mr. Fields was born in Elbert County on October 25, 1951, to the late Richard Ancel Fields and Mary Frances Payne Mason, and was the step-son of Roy Mason. He was a retired supervisor with Sonic and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and step-father, he is survived by children: Kevin Fields of Elberton, Eric Fields of Hartwell, Jennifer Turman of Comer, and Tiffany Fields Bearden of Elberton; thirteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Pam Fields and Nancy Lunsford. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Monday, May 5, at 1:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Mr. Tommy Fields officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Sunday evening.
