Michael O'Neal Hughes

Mr. Michael O”Neal Hughes, 58, of Elberton, GA entered his eternal rest on Thursday, August 24, 2023.

Michael was born on August 2, 1965 to the late Emma Heard Hughes and James Hughes.

Michael is preceded in death by his late wife: Lisa Hughes; parents: Emma and James Hughes; brothers: James Charles Hughes, Randy Hughes, Kevin Hughes and Willie Hughes.

He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter: Nicole Hughes; five grandchildren; six aunts one of who he cherished as a mother, Alma Hughes; two uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and other family members.

Memorial services to celebrate Michael’s life will be held 2PM, Saturday, September 9, 2023 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home.

The family is at the home of his aunt, Alma Hughes, 333 Williams Street, Elberton.
