Mildred Vickery Deadwyler

Mildred Vickery Deadwyler, 95, of Elberton, widow of Joseph E. Deadwyler, died Friday afternoon, June 17, 2011, at the Heritage Nursing Home in Athens, Georgia. Mrs. Deadwyler was born in Hart County, July 18, 1915, daughter of the late William Z. and Vennie V. Vickery. She was a retired seamstress from Elberton Manufacturing Company and was a member of the Doves Creek Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Pauline Deadwyler of WInterville; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services celebrating her life will be held Wednesday June 22, at 2PM at Doves Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Bowen officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.berryfh.com.
