Milton Monroe Mattox

Mr. Milton Monroe Mattox, 77, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020. He was the son of the late Milton Parks and Annie Ruth Gunter Mattox. He was preceded in death by his brothers John A. Mattox and Wilbur Gene Mattox,his brother-in-law Gaines Hall and sister-in-law Zelma Mattox. Mr. Mattox loved fishing and the outdoors. Survivors include sister Martha Hall, brothers Ray Mattox and Morris (Monteen) Mattox, extended family, and also family friend Howard Thaxton. Private graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 01, 2020 at 2p.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Rev. Gary Purvis will be officiating. Flowers will be graciously accepted or contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Hicks Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
