Minnie Lee Johnson Franklin Faulkner

Minnie Lee Johnson Franklin Faulkner, 93, of Longstreet Road, Elberton, wife of the late J.P. Franklin and the late Tom A. Faulkner, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Faulker was born in Elbert County, October 25, 1919, to the late Sam A. and Estelle Tyner Johnson. She was a retired cloth inspector from Elberton Mills and was a member of Elberton Christian Church. Left to cherish her memories are one sister, Jo Anne Johnson Childs of Elberton; niece, Chris Franklin; and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands, she is preceded in death by sister, Elizabeth Johnson Nelms. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11:00a.m. Thursday, June 27, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Eaton officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. Wednesday evening.
