Minnie J. Youngblood

Mrs. Minnie Magdalene Jordan Youngblood, 97, of Elberton, GA passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Elbert Memorial surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs. Youngblood was born in Banks County, Georgia to the late Van Burean and Nancy Lynch Jordan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Plumer D. Youngblood and a son Jackie Delano Youngblood. Mrs. Youngblood is survived by her children, William Youngblood of Elberton, Ralph Youngblood of Erin, TN, and Lois Duffield of Atlanta, Georgia. She is also survived by thirteen (13) grandchildren and twenty-three (23) great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Youngblood will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home with Reverend Shane Duncan officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home. Interment will be at Rock Branch Baptist Church.
