Nancy Louise Sorrow Anderson, 77, of 1055 Country Manor Lane, Elberton, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Nancy Hart Nursing Center. Ms. Anderson was born in Abbeville, South Carolina, April 1, 1935, to the late Pierce Elijah and Vera Taylor Sorrow. She was a member of the Elberton Pentecostal Holiness Church and a retired greeter from Elberton Wal-Mart. Nancy was also a member of the Elberton VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Left to cherish her memories are three sons and a daughter-in-law, Ken Anderson of Toccoa, Joe Anderson of Elberton, and Wayne and Charlotte Anderson of Royston; sister, Sally Cowart of Louisville, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Kevin Saxon, Brian Anderson, Haley Anderson, Brittney Anderson, and Allison Anderson; and two great-grandchildren, Georgia Anderson and Landon Barnes. The family is at the residence, 1055 Country Manor Lane, Elberton, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00PM - 8:00PM Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Following visitation, Ms. Anderson will be cremated and inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Abbeville at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions in Nancy's honor to the Elberton Pentecostal Holiness Church, 822 Heard Drive, Elberton, Georgia 30635.
