Neil Dickerson

Aaron Neil Dickerson , 73, who spent most of his career as a Land Surveyor in Elbert County, GA, passed away on January 15, 2012, in Phoenix, AZ from natural causes after suffering for several years from spino-cerebellar ataxia. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Snavely of Phoenix, AZ, who provided patient, meticulous, loving care for the last few years as his health declined. He is also survived by son Russell Dickerson of Los Angeles, CA, sister Brenda Jamison of Andrews, NC, sister-in-law Amy Dickerson of Elberton, GA, grandchildren Samantha Armstrong, Kyra Wilkerson, and Dillon Lewis. Mr. Dickerson was preceded in death by his first wife Judy Thomason, daughter Sherri Lewis,father Herman Dickerson, mother Nell Hendricks and brother Ray Dickerson. A memorial service celebrating Mr. Dickerson’s life will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home.Visitation will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Hicks Funeral Home prior to the service.
