Nelda Jean Tiller Scarborough

Our Dear Mother, Nelda Jean Scarborough, of Elberton, Ga. and of late Zebulon, Ga. sadly passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 90.

She was born February 19, 1933. She had many friends and was well loved where ever she went.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L Scarborough Jr.; her son, Stanley Scarborough; sister, Bertha Christian; and brothers: Vince Tiller, W.T. Tiller, and Morris Tiller.

She is survived by her son, Samuel Scarborough of Zebulon, Ga.; daughter, Elizabeth Edwards of Jefferson, Ga.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in September 1958 and was zealous about her ministry in her community.

Memorial Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1349 Mineral Springs Road in Elberton, Ga., on Saturday, August 12, at 2 o'clock pm. Burial preceded the service in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
