Nina Corene Hilley Yeargin

Mrs. Nina Corene Hilley Yeargin, 95, of Heard Drive, Elberton, wife of 55 years to the late Arthur 'Newt' Yeargin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at her residence. 

Born in Elbert County on September 16, 1928, Mrs. Yeargin was the daughter of the late William Bedford Hilley and Maude Estelle Ginn Hilley. She was a dedicated homemaker and the secretary of the family business, Dial Granite Company. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. 

Surviving is her daughter, Donna Kay Yeargin of Elberton. 

Along with her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Arthur 'Norris' Yeargin and brother, Bill Hilley. 

She was laid to rest privately beside her husband in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
