Mrs. Norma Jean Beasley Pulliam, 70, of Elberton, wife of the late Robert Stanley Pulliam, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Heardmont Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Pulliam was born in Greenwood, SC on August 5, 1945, to the late Grady Beasley and Maggie Robinson Beasley. She was retired from the granite industry.
Surviving are her children and their spouses: Holly Gaines and Eric of Elberton, Marty Pulliam and Debbie Barber of Statham, and Curt Pulliam and Gina of Elberton; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Temple of Elberton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by siblings: William Beasley, Peggy Eades, Alice Erwin, Frankie Rich, and Joellen Drawdy.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, May 14, at 11 o'clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock on Friday evening. The family is at the home of Curt and Gina Pulliam, 206 S. McIntosh Street, Elberton.
Pallbearers will include James Pulliam, Jeremy Pulliam, Evan Pulliam, Tripp Grizzell, David McAnespy, and Mikey McAnespy.
Flowers are accepted; contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
