Pamela Kay Almond Ayers, 49, of Hartwell, Georgia passed away Friday, July 18, 2014 at her home. Pamela was born in Killeen, Texas to the late Jim and Ruby Bundrick Almond.She was the wife of Sterling Ayers, and worked for the Killeen Independent School District. In addition to her husband, Sterling, Pamela is survived by two sisters: Carla Toole (Gerald) of Hartwell, and Haley Black (Doug) of Elberton;two children: Josh Ayers of Bowman and Chris Ayers of Killeen, Texas;and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A service to celebrate Pamela’s life was held Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home, Elberton, with Mr. Tommy Fields and Mr. Reggie Vaughn officiating.Visitation was Saturday evening, July 19,2014from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home.Interment followed the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
