Pamela Ann Johnson

Pamela Ann Johnson, 50, of 1474 Rousey Road, Elberton, died on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born on November 29, 1959 in Charleston, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Max A. Johnson and Ruby Standridge Johnson. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Pamela was a member of the Fortsonia Baptist Church. Ms. Johnson is preceded in death by a grandson, Grayson Clay Jones and a brother, William Eugene “Bill” Johnson. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Michelle and Travis Thomas, Kristy Waters Jones, and Alicia Waters; grandchildren, Gage Thomas, McKynna Thomas, Asher Jones, and Jax Jones; parents, Max A. Johnson and Ruby Standridge Johnson, both of Elberton; and brother, Robert “Bob” Johnson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 4PM from the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday night at Hicks Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home, 1474 Rousey Road in Elberton. Flowers will be accepted. Hicks Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements for Pamela Ann Johnson.
