Patrick Lewis Hatcher

Mr. Patrick Lewis Hatcher entered into the presence of Lord on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Quiet Oak Health Care in Crawford, Georgia.

Mr. Hatcher was born in San Diego, California on March 19, 1959, son of the late Dr. Lewis Lamar Hatcher and Betty Weeks Hatcher. He was a 1978 graduate of Glynn Academy High Schook in Brunswick, Georgia.

Patrick is survived by three sisters including Nancy Kittles (Denver) and Amanda Hatcher Lentz, both of Athens, Georgia and a brother.

Throughout his adult life, Patrick held an unwavering faith in God. He regularly attended Christian churches in Brunswick, St. Simons Island and Athens, Georgia. Patrick made countless friends in the church over his lifetime. He was a kind, caring man, who always took time to gladly greet and show respect to less fortunate people. To know Patrick was to love Patrick.

Patrick especially loved spending time with family. He looked forward to attending family reunions in Wadley, Georgia with his large extended family. He was always up for a family trip to his favorite town, Savannah, Georgia. He absolutely loved the St. Patrick’s Day parade and walking around River Street in the springtime. He fit right in with his signature Kelly green t-shirt and ball cap.

He cherished his family and friends. He kept in touch with everyone by sending out a cheerful “good morning” text each day. He is gone but will be in our hearts forever.

No formal services are scheduled at this time. His ashes will be interred in the Louisville City Cemetery in Louisville, Georgia.
