Patty Faye Lesseur Cleveland Evans

Mrs. Patty Faye Lesseur Cleveland Evans, 79, of Heard Drive, Elberton, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Chaplinwood Health & Rehab in Milledgeville. She was twice married, first to the late Larry James Cleveland and second to the late Walter Edward "Bo" Evans. 

The youngest of three, Patty was born in Elberton on June 9, 1944, only daughter of the late Marcus Reese Lesseur and Julia Hazel Butler Lesseur. She worked as a bookkeeper in the granite industry at Republic Granite and The Granite Source, from where she retired. Patty and Bo were members of Northside Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens. 

Survivors include her daughters: Tammy C. (Bruce Cochran) English of Eatonton, Tammy E. (Ricky) Holland of Elberton, and Nancy E. (Phillip Adams) Jones of Dewy Rose; grandchildren: Taylor English, Kelly H. (Phillip) Edwards, Katie Holland, AJ Jones, Mary Jones, and Tina Jones; and great-grandchildren: Katelynn, Malik, Gage, Dalton, Conner, Gavin, Braden, Ellie, Landen, and Chance. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sara Hunt Lesseur of Hartwell; aunt, Myra Lesseur of Elberton; and nieces and nephew: Jennifer (Troy) Bryan, Gabrielle (Milton) Denson, and Marcus (Beverly) Lesseur.

Along with her husbands and parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Roger Lesseur and Allen Lesseur. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5, from 1:00-1:45p.m. at Berry Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00p.m. in the funeral home chapel, officiated by the Rev. Tim Adams. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
