Pearl L. Pinney, 69, of 2288 Bowman Highway, Hartwell, died on Monday, July 12, 2010. Born on October 28, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. Purpuard and Leona Blanche Cheff Purpuard. She was a beloved mother of all her children;Clifton Ellison of Elberton, Linda Johnson of Elberton, Ricketta Butler of Atlanta; step-son, Kenneth Pinney of Ohio; 5 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers; Joseph Purpuard of Arizona, Gene Purpuard of Ohio; sisters; Lena June Hamdan of Dewy Rose, and Shirley Stediham of Ohio.
