Peggy Anne Power

Mrs. Peggy Anne McCannon Power, 79, of Third St., Carlton, GA widow of the late Whelchel Power passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Athens Regional Hospital. Mrs. Power was born July 17, 1935 in Lexington, GA to the late Ralph McCannon and Willie Theo Thaxton McCannon. She was a member of Carlton Baptist Church and a retired from the textile industry. Left to cherish her memories are a daughter Joy Anne Power Ramos of Carlton, GA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a sister Selma West. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held 11AM, Saturday April 11 at Carlton Baptist Church.
