Philip Eugene Dobrosky Sr.

Philip Eugene Dobrosky Sr., of 2217 Jaudon Road Elberton, husband of Barbara Meador Dobrosky died Friday June 18, 2010. Born in New Haven, CT he was a son of the late Samuel and Tillie Bouchark Dobrosky. He was a retired Police officer and a Sheriffs Deputy and a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife of the home Barbara Meador Dobrosky, daughters Rosemary Dobrosky of Portsmouth, VA, Cathy Clair of Hertford, NC, sons Philip E. Dobrosky Jr. of Elizabeth City, NC, and John Dobrosky of Chesapeake, VA, a sister Ruth Papa of New Haven, CT, a brother Thomas Dubrosky of Marietta, GA, 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Burial will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery in Chesapeake, VA.
