Due to the threat of inclement weather, the funeral service for Phillip Brown will be held in the Berry Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Phillip Benjamin Brown, 68, of Elberton, GA, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Pruitt Health at Spring Valley.
Mr. Brown was born on August 28, 1955, in Elberton, GA to Edgar Chandler Brown, Jr. and Myrtle Terry Brown as part of a set of triplets. Phillip loved cartoons, comics, movies, hard candy, eating and singing old hymns.
He is survived by siblings: Edgar "Chan" Brown of Elberton, GA, Terry O. Brown of Elberton, GA, Wray Brown (Amy), who is the last living triplet of Elberton, GA, and Crystal B. Hollifield (Lisa) of Lorain, OH; half-sister, Rosalie Kelly of Elberton, GA; many loving nieces and nephews; and his favorite CNA "wife" Sophia. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his identical twin, Asa Mallory Brown
Funeral services to celebrate Phillips's life will be held 4PM on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Rev. Rick Cox and brother Wray Brown will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Warwick, Ian Warwick, Jonathan Brown, Matthew Milner, Hudson Milner, Michael Carter, Wesley Brown and Eli Powell.
