Phillip Raymond Nolan, 24, of 2974 Rock Branch Road, Elberton, husband of Brittany Witcher Nolan, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. Nolan was born in Clarke County, June 14, 1988, to Alfred Nolan and Tonya Gaddis. He was employed in the maintenance department at Auto Zone and attended Antioch Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Brittany Witcher Nolan; children, Kyle Andrew Yinger, MaKayla Ann Nolan, and one on the way; parents, Alfred Nolan of Elberton and Tonya Gaddis of Jefferson; sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Edmund Notebaert of Gainesville; grandparents, Robert and Virginia Bulloch; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bo and Gina Witcher of Elberton; and grandparents-in-law, Roy and Lucy Witcher Seagraves. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, January 10, in the Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Thrift officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in church at 1:00PM. The family is at the residence of Amanda Thigpen, 196 College Avenue, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-7:30PM Wednesday evening.
