Phyllis Ovillia Schuler

Ms. Phyllis Ovillia Schuler, 56, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Sunday evening, April 23, 2017 at her home. A native of Elberton, Georgia, Ms. Schuler was the daughter of the late Albert Cecil and Maggie Ovillia Grant Salyers. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by brothers, Lee Edward Salyers and Wilbur Gene Salyers. Ms. Schuler is survived by two daughters, Christina Griffith of Sandpoint, Idaho and Victoria Beckstrom of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Marshall Griffith, Sarah Griffith, and Liliana Boettcher. She is also survived by brothers, Cecil Larry Salyers, John Darrell Salyers and sister, Brenda Gay Brown. As per Ms. Schuler’s wishes, the family requested cremation, and a private memorial service celebrating her life was held. Arrangements for Ms. Phyllis Ovillia Schuler were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
