Rabon Stanley Floyd

Mr. Rabon Stanley Floyd, 71, of Ruby Drive, Dewy Rose, husband of 52 years to Linda Jordan Floyd, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Floyd was born in Elbert County on August 4, 1943, to the late Walter J. "Junior" Floyd and Jessie Lee Coile Floyd. He was retired from the granite industry where he was a stone cutter for many years and was a member of Liberty Congregational Holiness Church. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Linda of the home; three daughters: Kimberly and Richard Bruce of Elberton, Regina Neal of Bowman, and Tina Huguley of Hartwell; eight grandchildren: Brent Stacks, Seth Bruce, Danielle Neal, McKenzie Neal, Corey Huguley, Christian Burden, Justin Massey, and Jessica Massey; one great-grandson, Zyler Anderson; three brothers and their wives: Darrell and Jean Floyd, Adrian and Lisa Floyd, and Sidney and Rhonda Floyd, all of Elberton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, November 12, at 1:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy Ayers officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 7:00-9:00p.m. on Tuesday evening.
