Mrs. Rachel Rebecca Pinson Mann, 67, of Kellogg Drive, Colbert, GA widow of the late George Mann passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Grandview Care Center in Athens, GA. Mrs. Mann was born May 11, 1947 in Athens, GA to the late William Pinson, Jr. and Mary Frances Scoggins Tanksley. She was a retired seamstress in the textile industry. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Tara Armstrong of Colbert, GA; brother Ronnie Tanksley; and grandchildren Chante Sanders, Coby Sanders and Kylee Armstrong. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son Robert McCarty and sister Margie Ann Walker. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
