Mr. Ralph Blanchard Bolt, 72, of Calhoun Falls Highway, Elberton, husband of 28 years to Deborah Edwards Bolt, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Bolt was born in Mobile, Alabama on March 7, 1943, to the late Willie Ralph Bolt and Dorothy Mae Blanchard Bolt. He was a sales representative in the advertising business and was Catholic by faith. Ralph loved boating, spending time in the mountains and at the beach, and playing music. Mr. Bolt was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Vietnam. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children and their spouses: Angela O'Dell Estill, Mark C. Bolt, Shane and Brandi Pettis, Michael Bolt, Alyssa and Guillermo Aldana, and Joshua and Dreama Bolt; siblings: Joanna Wilson and Michael Bolt; sixteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Terri Lynn McElroy. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Friday, July 31, at 11:00a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Cremation will follow the service. Mr. Bolt will lie instate for one hour prior to the service. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Thursday evening.
