Ralph Edwin Norton

Mr. Ralph Edwin Norton, 65, of Powell Road, Hartwell, Georgia husband of the late Linda Marie Ray Norton passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014. Mr. Norton was born November 9, 1948 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late Hubert Manley Norton and Celeste Irene Brewer Norton. He was U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War, a meatcutter at Quality Foods in Hartwell and also worked with The Hartwell Sun. Left to cherish his memories are a daughter Tina Marie Norton Carey of Hartwell; grandchildren Kasondra Morris and Daniel Carey, Jr. both of Hartwell and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents h was preceded in death by brothers Hubert Norton, Jr. and Herbert Norton. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held 11AM, Saturday March 8, at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Hartwell with Reverend Randall Starrett officiating.
