Ralph Stanley Gaddy

Mr. Ralph Stanley Gaddy, 86, of Steve Ray Dr., Dewy Rose, GA passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Spring Valley Health Care.

Mr. Gaddy was born December 18, 1930 in Haywood County, NC to Clarence H. Gaddy and Flossie Lee Wines Gaddy. He was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Iva, SC and was retired from Champion International Paper Company after 32 years. Mr. Gaddy was a deacon and pastor for Church of God of Prophecy.

He is survived by his wife: Hilda Mae "Dixie" Stamey Gaddy; sons: Rodney Gaddy of Dewy Rose, GA; Eric Gaddy of Leicester, NC; Jason Gaddy of Elberton, GA; daughters: Donna Early of Canton, NC; Sheri Davis of Leicester, NC; brothers: Robert Gaddy of Candler, NC; Jennings Gaddy of Cary, NC; sister: Martha Cassidy of Cleveland, TN; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Leroy Gaddy and sisters: Hazel Bumgarner; Dortha Williams and Wilda Linkous.

Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held 3PM, Sunday, November 5 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler, NC with Rev. Ricky Wolfe officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM just before the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
