Randall Grant Brady

Mr. Randall Grant Brady, 83, of Harmony Road, Elberton, husband of 60 years to Margaret Anne Eavenson Brady, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Landmark Hospital in Athens. 

Randall was born in Elberton on April 21, 1940, son of the late Grant Elijah Brady and Hazel Attaway Brady. He was a member of Concord United Methodist Church and attended Liberty Church in Danielsville as long as his health permitted. He worked as plumber and electrician for most of his life, and was the owner/operator of Brady Plumbing and Electrical Contractors, Inc. Randall was an avid farmer and served his country with the United States Army National Guard. 

Surviving, in addition to his wife Anne, are his sons: Keith Brady and Kevin Brady, both of Elberton; and siblings: Phillip Brady of Elberton, Susan Mitchum of Villa Rica, and Phyllis (Robert) Drake of Senoia. Granddaddy leaves behind his grandchildren: Tanner (Luke) Mabry, Zach Brady, and Lindsey Brady; great-grandchildren: Addi, CharliAnne, Easton, and Jaxon; and Kasey King Davidson, who he loved as a granddaughter. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Alvin Brady and Martha Ann Butler. 

The family is at the residence and will receive friends on Monday, November 20, from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home. 

Funeral services celebrating Randall’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 21, at 2:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Moon officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery with Luke Mabry, Devin Drake, Clete Brady, Joel Hurst, Jeff Butler, and Chris Brady honored as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will include Col. George Ellis, Ernie Dyal, Bud Carrington, Charles Hill, Chris Phelps, and David Hunt.
