Reba Johnson

Mrs. Reba Johnson, 70, of Dr. George Ward Rd., Elberton, GA passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Johnson was born August 22, 1945 in Elberton, GA to the late Oscar Johnson and Alma Martin Johnson. She was a member of Flatwoods Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a Elbert County School bus driver. Left to cherish her memories are sons Rev. Randy Duke of Shaw, MS, Timmy Evans of Elberton, GA, daughter Renee Russell of Comer, GA, siblings Forest Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Sydney Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Faye Knighton of Thompson, GA, Dorothy "Dot" Booth of Bowman, GA, Nancy Jones of Athens, GA, twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sons Tony Duke, Thomas Evans, Larry Evans and a sister Joanna Wolfe. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, January 6, at 11:30AM in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Randy K. Duke officiating. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 11-11:30AM Wednesday just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. Berry Funeral Home & Crematory, Elberton is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Reba Johnson.
