Renee Rogers Moon

Mrs. Tracey Renee Rogers Moon, 50, of Flagstaff Rd., Elberton, GA wife of Jeffery Lynn Moon passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at her home.

Mrs. Moon was born February 16, 1966 in Anderson, SC to the late Bobby Lewis Rogers and Elaine McLanahan Rogers. She was member of First Baptist Church of Elberton, a clerk for Elbert Memorial Hospital, past-president for Elbert County Jaycees, helped with Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon and served on the handicap awareness committee.

Survivors include her husband Jeffery Lynn Moon; son and daughter-in-law Tyler and Jennifer Moon of Athens, GA; and special friend and caregiver Brenda Johnson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother Michael Rogers and sister Jill Rogers.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 3:30PM, Tuesday September 20, at the First Baptist Church of Elberton with Rev. Steve Fenlon and Rev. Raymond Scott officiating. The family is at the home on Flagstaff Rd. and will receive friends from 2-3PM in the Fellowship Hall at the First Baptist Church of Elberton. Interment will be in Elmhurst Cemetery with Kent King, Travis Rice, Wayne Cobb, Butch Jefferson, Dan McAvoy and Greg Gunter serving as pallbearers.
