Rev. Chris Wagoner

Rev. Rodney Chris Wagoner, 63, of Balchin Rd. Elberton, GA husband of Joyce Balchin Wagoner passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospice House. Rev. Wagoner was born September 4, 1952 in Chicago, IL to Marilyn Mueller Reineke. He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, past Army National Guardsman, he had attended Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, GA and had served as a United Methodist Church Minister at seven separate churches over the years. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Joyce Balchin Wagoner; children Cynthia Lewis Riley of Pickens, SC, Samuel Mark Lewis of Greenville, SC, Corbin Wagoner of Atlanta, GA, David Wagoner of Houston, TX, Aaron Wagoner of Durham, NC; mother Marilyn Mueller Reineke of Jacksonville, FL; siblings Mike Wagoner of Ponte Vedra, FL, Pat Wagoner of Jacksonville, FL, Greg Wagoner of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service to celebrate Chris' life will be held 2PM, Friday February 26 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Sharon Coley and Dr. Gary Lee Whetstone officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery with Gerald Moon, Scott Moon, Carson Kimsey, James Kennedy, Virgil Moon, Gary Williams, Marvin Dye and Johnny Lutz serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM Thursday night at Berry Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Rev.
