Rickey David Wallace

Rickey David Wallace, 56 of 2087 Athens Hwy. Elberton, GA. husband of Louise Ann Floyd Wallace, died Wednesday Oct. 14, 2009. Born in Atlanta Ga., he was a son of the late Noble David Wallace and Mary Starrett Wallace. He was a member of the Hartwell Church of God, a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and was retired from the Georgia Army National Guard with 21 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Louise Ann Floyd Wallace of the home. Daughter; Kellee McGowan, of Elberton. Son; Michael Wallace, of Greenwood S.C. Sisters; Mary Jane Gordon, of Madison, Ga., and Debra Picard, of Hartwell, GA. and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday Oct. 17, at the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Elberton. The family will be at the home on the Athens Hwy., and will receive friends Saturday from 11 AM untill 1 PM at Berry Funeral Home before the funeral services.
