Robert L. Brown

Robert Louis Brown, 83, of Bowman, Georgia, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Hart Health Care. Mr. Brown was born in Anderson, SC to the late Tannie Alexander Brown and Myrtie Jane Perry Brown.He worked many years as a truck driver. Mr. Brown is survived by a wife, Dorothy Lee Broome Tucker Brown; daughters, Linda Hill and Angie (Phillip) Barnett of Bowman; son, Johnny Brown of Canon, Ga.; step-daughter, Ann (John) Barton and step-son, Jim Hendrick. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Shaw Brown, sisters; Flora Mae Shaw, Othella Brock, brothers; Joe Brown and T. A. Brown. A celebration of Mr. Brown’s life will be Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church.Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home.
