Robert Earl Roe

Robert Earl Roe, 41, of 243 Edwards Street, Elberton, husband of Lisa Elaine Hobbs Roe, passed away Wednesday morning, December 21, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Roe was born in Dothan, Alabama, October 31, 1970, to Virginia Roe and the late Steve Edward Roe Sr. He was the President of Elbert County Little League and attended the Elberton First Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Lisa Hobbs Roe; mother, Virginia Roe of Easley, South Carolina, grandfather, William Earl Deese; three children, Kaitlyn Elaine Roe, Bryson Nicholas Roe, and Robert Lee Roe; and three siblings, Pat Streetman of Birmingham, Alabama, Steve Edward Roe Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama, and Robbie Grasser of Easley, South Carolina. The family has chosen cremation, and memorial services celebrating his life will be held at 2PM Thursday, December 29, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Whitfield officiating. The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Ruff, 1800 Athens Highway, Elberton, and will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2PM Thursday, just prior to the service.
