Robert S. Landau

Mr. Robert S. Landau, age 82 of Conyers, was born November 11, 1931 in Shamokin, PA and passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, September 23, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Dorothy and Dan Zimmerman. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris Landau; brother, Danny Zimmerman; sons and their wives, Barry and Gretchen Landau, Brian and Jeannene Landau; granddaughters, Nina and husband Matt Renshaw, Elyse Landau, Courtney Landau and fiance, Charlie Gardner; great-granddaughter Caroline. Mr. Landau served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and worked for U.S. Elevator as a service engineer for 41 years. He received Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of 28 and was an avid Christian and active member of Heritage Hills Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Pastor Joe Hughes officiating; interment followed at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.
