Robert Charles Thomason

Mr. Robert Charles Thomason, 88, of Elberton, Georgia passed away January 11, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospice House.A native of Elberton, he was the son of the late, R. Elmer and Mable Sanders Thomason.Mr. Thomason had worked as a stone cutter for several granite companies throughout his career.He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.Mr. Thomason had a love for the outdoors and gardening. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mary Thomason; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Crystal Thomason, of Seneca, S.C., and daughter and son-in-law, Maryann and Michael Berry, of Colbert.He also leaves behind his grandchildren:Zack Thomason, Brianna Thomason, and Cassie Thomason; and one great-grandchild, Conner Thomason. Mr. Thomason was laid to rest in Elmhurst Cemetery in a private family service with Rev. Douglas Huff officiating.
