Robert Lewis Tiller

Robert Lewis “Bob” Tiller, 74, of Spring Valley Healthcare Center, Elberton, died on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Born on March 11, 1936 in Oglethorpe County, he was the son of the late James Dorsey and Martha Grace Tiller. Mr. Tiller was a U.S. Army Veteran and the owner/operator of Tiller Trucking Company. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lucille Tiller Lee; and a brother, Bo Tiller. Survivors include his daughters, Debra Ramsey, Diana Leigh Turner, and Roberta Ashley Tiller; son, Robert Chase Tiller; and several other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010, at 4PM in Forest Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Jack McVeigh officiating.Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010, at 3-4PM at Hicks Funeral Home. Hicks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Robert Lewis “Bob” Tiller.
