Robert Hail Whatley

Robert Hail Whatley, 85, of 68 College Avenue Apt. 38, Elberton, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Born on April 13, 1925, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi he was a World War II Veteran and served 30 years in the military. Survivors include his wife of 63 years; Dorothy M. Powell Whatley, daughter and son-in-law; Brenda and Michael Colbert, grandchildren; Madelaine & Hagan Colbert and their families and sister; Sara Eckhoff and her respective family. Funeral Services will be held on November 30, 2010 at 11 am from the Hicks Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am prior to the service.
