Mr. Rodney James Stovall, 46, of S. McIntosh Street, Elberton, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Stovall was born in Anderson, South Carolina on November 18, 1967, to James William "Jim" Stovall and the late Andrena Johnson "Ann" Stovall. He was self-employed and attended St. Alban's Episcopal Church. Left to cherish his memories are his father, James William "Jim" Stovall of Elberton; sister, Lorie Stovall-Sears, her husband Norton, and their children: Calhoun, McKenzie, and Emma, all of Elberton; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, March 29, at 11:00a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. David McConnell and Father John Keeler officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family is at the residence of his father, Jim Stovall, 826 Cardinal Drive, and will receive friends and Berry Funeral Home from 10:00a.m.-10:45a.m. on Saturday morning. Flowers are optional; those desiring may make contributions in Rodney's memory to Northside Baptist Church, 384 North Oliver Street, Elberton, Georgia 30635 or to St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 109 Brookside Drive, Elberton, Georgia 30635.
