Roger Lee Carroll

Roger Lee Carroll, 64, resident of 306 McGowan Ave., husband of Sandra Gary Carroll, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016, in Abbeville, SC. Born in Elbert County, GA, he was a son of the late L.M. Carroll and Macon Haynes Carroll. Roger was a retired painting contractor and worked a number of years for granite sheds in Elberton, GA. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Gary Carroll of Abbeville, SC; a daughter, Kim Wagler (Kevin) of Abbeville, SC; a son, Jason Carroll of McCormick, SC; two brothers: Melvin Carroll and Donnie Ray Carroll, both of Elberton, GA; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 12, 2016, at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with Revs. Bobby Cutter and Michael Osborne officiating. The burial will follow in Latimer Cemetery in Calhoun Falls, SC. The family is at the home of his daughter, Kim Wagler, 105 George St., Abbeville. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 PM Saturday afternoon at the funeral home prior to services.
