Roger Lee Thomason

Mr. Roger Lee Thomason, 70, of Ruby Lane, Royston, GA passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Thomason was born July 26, 1949 in Hartwell, GA to Junior Thomason and Sarah Elrod Thomason. He was a member of Price Chapel Church of God in Lavonia, a retired drywall worker and a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife Melissa Stowe Thomason; sons and daughters-in-law: Wayne and Lisa Thomason of Toccoa, GA, Tony Thomason of Lavonia, GA, Justin and Janey Garland of Royston, GA, daughter and son-in-law: Rebecca and Chris Gibson of Dewy Rose, GA; siblings: Dale Freeman of Canon, GA, Judy Brock of Gumlog, GA, Jerry Thomason of Conyers, GA, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Tammy Thomason and a brother Eddie Thomason.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
