Rolline B. Jones

Mrs. Rolline B. Jones, age 74, of Elberton, died October 23, 2008 at Regency Hospital in Greenville, SC.She was the daughter of the late Elbert Bowdoin and Homer Barrow Bowdoin.She was a lifetime member of Elberton First Baptist Church, and she worked as a medical nurse in Elberton for 47 years.She was preceded in death by her sister, Miss Laverne Bowdoin. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Leroy Jones, of Elberton; son, Bobby (Carol) Jones, of Elberton; Grandchildren, Natalie Clair Lunsford, Travis B. Jones, Wesley Alvin Jones, Eli York, and Zach York. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 26, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Hicks Funeral Home.Pastor Steve Varner officiating.Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
