Ronnie Berg Mills

Mr. Ronnie Berg Mills, 73, of Elberton, GA, passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Born in Elbert County,Mr. Mills was the son of the late Rucker Eugene and Cornelia Smith Mills. Mr. Mills is survived by his wife of 12 years, Betty Mills of Elberton;children: Kelly (Alan) Scott of Hartwell, Michele (Mike) Goodyear of Winder, and Ronnie Berg Mills, II of Hartwell;step-daughter, Elaine (Bull) Bailey;sister, Patricia (Jack) Childs of Sanford, NC;brothers: Tommy D. (India) Mills, and Mike R. (Priscilla) Mills, of Elberton.He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 1 step-great-grandchild.Mr. Mills was preceded in death by his parents,daughters Ronnette and Kimberly Mills,and one step-son, Ricky Daniel. A memorial service will be Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home.Visitation for family and friends will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.Inurnment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Flowers are optional,and memorials may be made to T.J. & Friends Foundation at 1675 Deep Creek Road, Dewy Rose, GA 30634.
