Russell Wade Mcdowell

Mr. Russell Wade McDowell, 58, of N. Broad St. Bowman, GA passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at his home.

Mr. McDowell was born in Royston, GA to Billy McDowell and Myra Joyce Ashworth McDowell. He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife: Tammy Thurman McDowell; children: Kevin McDowell and Heather of Kansas, Scott McDowell and Jessie of Bowman, GA, Hope Burton and Chris of VA, Callen Oneal of Lavonia, GA, Leslie Oneal of Bowman, GA, Gina Meccarielo of FL; mother: Myra Joyce Ashworth McDowell of Bowman, GA; siblings: Kim McDowell of Bowman, GA, Kellie Childers and Johnny of Dewy Rose, GA, Kay Guest and Greg of Canon, GA, Bill McDowell of Bowman, GA, and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father: Billy McDowell; children: Kaylyn McDowell and Vince James Oneal and a grandchild: Devin McDowell.

Memorial services to celebrate Russell’s life will be held 2PM, Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Bowman Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Petty officiating.

The family are at their respective homes.
