Samuel Pope Roberts

Mr. Samuel Pope Roberts, 58, of Tignall, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Roberts was born in Royston on October 30, 1959, son of the late Daniel Vance Roberts, Sr. and Lettie Mae Mize Roberts. He was a member of Mallorysville Baptist Church, was employed with the City of Tignall as an electrician, and enjoyed playing the piano.

Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Denise Arnold Roberts; children: Lauren Elizabeth Roberts, Lucas Arnold Roberts, and Layla Rose Roberts; and brother, Daniel Vance Roberts, Jr.

Memorial services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, May 12, at 2 o’clock at Tignall Baptist Church. Inurnment will be in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
