Sara Brown Anderson

Mrs. Sara Bertha Brown Anderson, 74, of Elberton, GA passed away Friday July 27, 2018.

Mrs. Anderson was born December 4, 1943 in Dewy Rose, GA to James Andrew Brown, Sr. and Rachel Amanda Brown. She was a member of Elberton Christian Church, Beta Sigma Phi and was retired from the Elberton Medical Center where she had worked for 51 years.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law: Vernon and Tina B. Anderson, Barry Anderson and special friend Tracey Rousey, sister-in-law: Liz Brown, grandchildren: Raechel and Alex Scarborough, Caleb Anderson, Gavin and Jessica Finley, Ashley and Dericus Paul, Ryan and Kayla Wilhite, Kayla and Jake Dove, Shane Brown, Lanie and Jarod Garner, Nathan Anderson, Marissa Anderson; great-grandchildren: Lawson Dove, Bristol Garner, Noah Paul, Madison McDaniel, Bentley McDaniel and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother: James "Jimmy" Andrew Brown, Jr. and daughter-in-law: Lisa Anderson.

Funeral services to celebrate her will be held 2PM, Monday July 30 at Elberton Christian Church. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family are at their respective homes and will receive friends from 6-8PM Sunday night at Berry Funeral Home.
